Tabea Sutter

A graduate of the University of Zurich (MD, 2015), Dr. Tabea Sutter is a board certified specialist in internal medicine and hematology. After her medical residency in Internal Medicine and Hematology, she developed a strong interest in caring for people during transitional life stages—especially during pregnancy, childbirth, and the interface between pediatric and adult medicine. She is currently completing a two year fellowship in fetomaternal hematology at University of Toronto accompanied by a Masters in Clinical Education at University of Edinburgh.

Kristine Matusiak

Author of the modules Sickle Cell Disease, VTE and Iron Deficiency

Dr. Kristine Matusiak is a clinical hematologist and Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology and Thromboembolism at McMaster University. She completed subspecialty fellowship training in hemoglobinopathies and obstetric hematology at the University of Toronto. Her clinical interests include adult hemoglobinopathy care, women’s health and hematology, and care of pregnant patients with hematologic issues. She completed her MSc in Medical Education at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto and has interests in postgraduate medical education and interprofessional education and collaboration.
